Medical emergency Halts Ysleta vs. Bowie Football game; student receives swift care
During the Ysleta versus Bowie high schools' football match at Baty Simmang Memorial Stadium today, a medical crisis arose involving a Bowie student. Swiftly responding medical staff evaluated the situation, ensuring proper precautions were taken before summoning emergency medical services (EMS). The student was promptly transported for further medical attention. As a gesture of respect towards Bowie High School, the remainder of the football game and associated events were called off. El Paso ISD stands in solidarity with the student, their family, and the entire Bowie community. Prioritizing student safety, the district pledges ongoing assistance and support to those affected.
