The Rush ACLS group commits to staying up-to-date with the newest emergency medical practices. Our ACLS, PALS & BLS courses follow 2020 American Heart Association guidelines for CPR and ECC. Our online classes are based on the latest AHA guidelines and are updated regularly.
Study online or print
You will also gain access to the online training material right after you purchase the course. You can now study the course material directly on your computer or print out a copy of the curriculum, if that’s what you prefer.
Online exam
All exams are multiple choice and taken online. We require you to get 80% or greater in order to pass the test. If you didn’t pass the first time, you will still have two more attempts. We will let you know the questions you answered incorrectly.
No time limits
We don’t enforce time limits when it comes to finishing your online ACLS, PALS and BLS classes. You can purchase all the classes you need today and take the tests any time that’s convenient for you. Additionally, we also don’t enforce time limits on the exam itself. Once you begin, you may take as much time as you want to finish the test. However, you’re not allowed to save the unfinished test and resume it on another day.
Instant provider eCard
Once the test is completed, you’ll have access to a virtual copy of your BLS, ACLS or PALS certficate(eCard). You will have unlimited access to this certificate(eCard) through the customer workroom. If you ever lose your physical certificate, you can use the virtual certificate(eCard) as proof of certification.
Hard copy certificate
Besides your BLS, ACLS or PALS instant provider eCard, you will also receive a hard copy version of your eCard(certificate) in the mail using FedEx, if it is requested. This certificate will serve as your proof of certification so always make sure that you have it with you wherever you go.

Good samaritan sisters rush to aid child in tragic accident
Scarborough residents Hayli and Ophelia Hu Kinney were en route to a family event when they encountered a distressing scene in Chelsea. Upon seeing a woman attempting CPR on a child's front lawn, the sisters, who had recently refreshed their CPR skills, rushed to assist. Hayli began performing CPR while Ophelia supported the foster mother. Despite the tragedy, they felt grateful to provide aid. Even after first responders arrived, they continued their efforts until the child was taken to the hospital, following a tragic accident involving a tow truck. The Hu Kinneys emphasized the importance of helping in such situations, echoing a sentiment that all children are a collective responsibility. Maine's Department of Health and Human Services declined to comment on the foster care aspect due to confidentiality laws, and the sisters offered support to the grieving family.
