How it works



Study

All study materials based on the latest American Heart Association guidelines are included, you have choice to read it online or print it. We also include a skills test sheet (optional).


Pass the exam

The test is multiple-choice format and covers patient scenarios and general course knowledge. The test has no time limit and there's no hassle of working around a classroom schedule.


E-card

You will receive your provider eCard after passing the online exam. If requested, we send a printed copy of your certificate the next day after you pass your exam.

Study online or print

Once enrollment is complete, you will now have access to the online training material which you can study directly using your computer or if you prefer, you can also print out a copy of the curriculum.

Online exam

We create multiple choice-type of exams and all of them can be taken online. We require a passing rate of 80% or greater and if you didn’t pass on your first try, you will have two more attempts. You will also be informed of all the questions you didn’t answer correctly.

No time limits

We don’t enforce time limits on completing your online PALS, BLS and ACLS classes. You can enroll in today and you can take the exams at your most convenient time. There are also no time limits during the exam itself. Once you begin the test, you can take as much time as you need to finish it. However, saving your unfinished work and resuming it for a later date is not allowed.

Instant provider eCard

After completing the test, you will now have an unlimited access to a virtual copy of your ACLS, PALS or BLS certificate(eCard) through the workroom. The virtual certificate(eCard) will also serve as your proof of certification in case you lose your physical certificate.

Hard copy certificate

If requested, your hard-copy certificate will be shipped via FedEx, along with your PALS, BLS or ACLS instant provider eCard. Keep this certificate close to you at all times because this will be your proof of certification.
